so far going to share in festivities this weekend. Excited! Visiting my sisters and family. Food, fun and of course presents.Now onto to sharing the images.

WOWW #77 - CREATIVE - WORK - HOLIDAY BAKING

Good Morning Bloggers! Well today on my work desk is some of the progress of my projects.This week I am in my second week of a new job. So I am adjusting with time ,creativity,work and baking for the holidays. Here is a peek with my progress below.

To the far right is a glimpse of the back part of the folder. The rectangle pieces are going to be the pockets. So far on my altered art the form I've done nothing as you can see. Below the form are going to be her high-heel shoes and if you can see the three little pieces that will be strands of hair (that's the idea anyway). My goal is to have these two projects finished by this weekend. So be sure and check back next week.Well off to work then holiday baking , I just love pumpkin pie. Don't you? What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #75

Hello,
Everyone in the Wednesday World. Here is what's on my work desk to day -

My trusted sewing machine and fabric. I will be making a hanging file folder with the light fabric. Two new pillows with the zebra. I love this fabric because of the colors are brown & cream, not just black & white. I think they will be great looking on my leather sofa.

This area of my work desk I am finishing up a joy wreath that  I started last week . I am playing with my cricket. Oh! the dominoes and dress form I am going to start an altered art piece and enter Alter Monthly. Nothing like working on three projects at once. But it is so fun to challenge yourself.
I'm off to visit creative minds over at Julia at Stamping Ground.

Fabulous Finds

How has your week been? Over the last two weeks I have the fun of enjoying Fabulous Finds for $1to$5.
One Saturday morning I was returning home and some of those yellow, red and bright colored signs caught my eye. So, I  pulled in my driveway scurried into my extra cash and off to the sales. I was looking for dominos for an Altered Art project. Look at one of my Fabulous Finds.

 They were $5.00 a piece . I can't wait to get to start working on them . A good project for when the weather really cools off . Then the next week we were helping sort and price items at a school parking lot sale (fundraiser). I came across this:

 This load of fabric was in a box marked $5.00. We are talking decorator fabrics and yardage not just pieces.
It's all the color scheme I love. Let's go on:

The lamp $2.00, the urn $1.00, and the cool birdhouse also a $1.00. Ok! they may not be fabs to everyone
but I'm have enjoyed sharing them with you. What Fabulous Finds have you found? Share! Share ! I smell

WOW #71

Here we are on another Wednesday.If you want to know what this WOW is all about pop on over to Julia's At Stamping Ground. I'm not working just yet today but this is what's on my desk. I participated in a Victorian cuff swap hosted by Honey Lamb and I. I received a cuff from my swap partner S.Starnes . I think she did a terrific job.She also put in extra's. WOW ! What a serendipity!

Shoes! Shoes!- WOWW

I received an order in Sept. at the craft fair. They are a great way to say Thank you, I'm thinking of you, name plates  for a place setting for afternoon tea . A great way to hand deliver a thank you note in this high tech world of communication and what a reward we receive when we see the expression on the recipient's face.
